Catarmaraning
When traveling with another paddler, two Superior Canoes can be connected together in a matter of minutes out on the water to form a very stable craft.

Sailing
Take advantage of the wind, save your arms and hang on for a great glide across the water as a pole and sail are assembled within minutes without even leaving the water.

Customizing and Accessories for Superior Expedition Canoe

Color of Canoe
Pick colors for hull and deck (red, royal blue, green, yellow or white).

Spray Cover
Heavy duty with non-locking zipper, shock cords and elastic waist band. Snaps on with the aluminum hoops and snaps on the boat.

Catamaran Sleeves
Catamaran Sleeves can be installed in the front and back of the boat, giving it more stability when needed.

Catamaran Pole
1 1/4" OD by 6" long telescopic anodized aluminum with stainless steel locking air chamber that makes it float.

Materials and Construction for Toughness
Superior Canoes uses a combination of S-Glass, layers of Kevlar and vinyl ester resin to give the boat incredible strength as it encounters rocks and excessive ground contact. The deck and rim are molded into one piece, and the hull and deck are bonded together with three layers of Kevlar.

Cockpit and Deck
The high cockpit and rim keep the paddler dry, yet allow for ease in reaching the water with the paddle. With this design, the boat is strong enough to carry on a vehicle top down. To ensure dryness, a spray skirt can easily be attached while in the boat by simply snapping it in, putting the shock cords under the rim and securing the elastic waist.

Flotation
To ensure the boat floats if capsized, floatation material is placed in the ends of the boat, giving you the assurance that the boat will be with you to finish the trip.

Rudder and Foot Paddles
The rudder and foot pedals enable paddlers to paddle upstream and go against high winds on the open seas with much greater ease.

Comfy Seat
The seat is made for comfort. The seat is installed in a kevlar hanger at a height of 4" or 6", depending on your comfort and water conditions.
